Professional multilingual website (IT/RO/EN) for the IT consulting brand, optimized for SEO and peak performance.
The Challenge
As a freelance IT consultant, I needed a website that served three different goals: attract SMB clients in the Castelli Romani area near Rome, reach the Romanian community in Italy, and function as a professional portfolio for international freelance platforms.
The site needed to be blazing fast, perfectly optimized for search engines, and require zero ongoing technical maintenance.
The Solution
I chose Astro as the framework for its ability to generate fully static sites with zero client-side JavaScript:
- Native multilingual — 3 versions of the site with content adapted to each audience, not simple translations
- Complete SEO — JSON-LD, hreflang, Open Graph, Twitter Cards, XML sitemap, robots.txt
- Extreme performance — self-hosted fonts, optimized CSS, no tracking, sub-second build time
- GDPR compliant — no profiling cookies, privacy policy in 3 languages, explicit consent
- Infrastructure — domain, email routing, DNS and CDN on Cloudflare, deployed on Vercel
The Results
The site achieves Lighthouse scores of 95+ across all metrics, loads in under 1 second, and serves as a professional first point of contact for both local and international clients.
